The Kahlil Gibran Spirit of Humanity Awards recognize individuals,
corporations, organizations and communities whose work,
commitment and support make a difference in promoting
co-existence and inclusion in all walks of life.
The awards aim to promote the positive forces of diversity and cultural

humanitarian values across racial, ethnic and religious lines.
The award is named for the author of "The Prophet" whose message of
human endurance and triumph was so evident in his life and work.
The award further symbolizes Gibran's pride in his Arab

المجلس الإداري الجديد والذي سيكون 13 عضواً في نفس المناسبة
حرصاً على مشاركة أكبر عدد ممكن من أفراد جاليتنا السورية في هذه
الانتخابات كما وتعلن أسماء الفائزين مباشرة بعد فرز الأصوات.
يحق الترشيح لمجلس الإدارة لكل عضو في النادي
بغض النظر عن قدم مدّة عضويته ويشترط أن يكون سوريا أو من أصل سوري
مقيما في الولايات المتحدة بشكل قانوني غير محكوم وحسن السيرة
والسلوك لديه أو لديها الاستعداد للعمل الطوعي والمشاركة في اعداد
وتنظيم وانجاح فعاليات النادي المقبلة لما فيه مصلحة الجالية.
يطلب من الراغبين ملئ طلبي العضوية
والترشيح المرفقين مع شيك بقيمة 25 دولار (رسم العضوية السنوي)
وارسالهم بالبريد بمدة أقصاها يوم الأثنين الثاني عشر من شهر أبريل
نيسان الحالي ( مرفق ظرف بريدي عليه عنوان النادي ) ويهمل كل طلب
يحمل ختم البريد الرسمي بعد هذا التاريخ.
يحق لكل سوري أو عربي
أو أمريكي الانتخاب حتى يوم الانتخابات بشرط أن يكون عمره 18 عاماً
وما فوق وينتسب للنادي ويسدد اشتراكه السنوي قبل الادلاء بصوته
ويشترط أيضاً الحضور ولا يحق الانتخاب بالتوكيل.
